We describe our style as artistic photojournalism, photographing moments when they are most real and most times without you even noticing we were there.
At a young age we both found a passion for photography that eventually led us to each other. Our first meeting was to discuss the idea of working together and trading secrets, in the hopes of creating something that maybe no one could. It worked, in more ways than one. As our relationship grew, so did our photography and we both found a new creativity come alive.
On September 10, 2010 we celebrated our own wedding, officially becoming a husband and wife team. We love what we do. There is no other way to say it. There is nothing like seeing a deep connection between two people as they become husband and wife and being able to capture those emotions through the lens of the camera - freezing a moment that will create lasting memories to remind them of the love they share.
As animal and portrait photographers, we have the same passion. Year after year we are asked to come back and capture the changes and growth in families. Jessica Painter Photography has become a part of many families, watching them grow each year. We love going back and creating a new story of images for families.
We are Nikon lovers and we continually upgrade our equipment to the highest quality Nikon has to offer. Our gear will work in any conditions you might throw at us; please, challenge us! We love going to new places to shoot - if you ask if if we've been there and we say no; who cares?! It will make your experience with us even that more unique.
